Thomas’ bedroom is most definitely one of my favourite rooms in the house. It’s such a lovely space, bright and airy & a decent floor space for him to play. There isn’t much storage but I feel we have made the most of what we do have. Up until today, we hadn’t taken the sides off his cot, he’d never made an attempt to climb … Continue reading Toddler bedroom tour

We didn’t start planning our wedding straight after the proposal like most people do, we wanted to wait until after Thomas was born and we were settled as a family. My son likes to keep busy and can very quickly turn grumpy, which in turn can make me grumpy too! We have some favourite rainy day activities that I thought I would share here. So I guess I should start my wedding series with the story of how he proposed. We had been together for 2 years and we’d spoken a few times about getting married but nothing was ever set in stone. Stephen had always said that when he did finally pop the question it would never be on an occasion, such as my birthday or Christmas.
A few months back we went on holiday to Portugal, at the time Thomas was 4 weeks away from turning 2. I had been panicking for several weeks beforehand about a number of different things and in the end, it was all unnecessary stress! I thought I would write my top tips for anyone else who has been stressing at the thought of the holiday with a hyperactive toddler. Continue reading “My top tips for travelling with a toddler.”
